Winter Registration & Happy Holidays

December 6, 2007 · Leave a Comment

Registration for Winter Storytime, Tales & Tunes For Tots and Playdate is open to Southington residents only and will take place at 9:00AM on Thursday January 10th.   To register, click on the “children’s programming calendar” in the green bloglines box on the right.  Scroll down to locate the date for the first class.  Remember to register your child for the age appropriate class.  This is determined by using the child’s age on the date of registration.

At 9:00AM on the date of registration, a hand holding a pen will appear to the far right (if the hand does not appear, please refresh your screen).  Click on the hand and enter your child’s name.  Your name should not appear anywhere in the registration.  Fill in your telephone number and click “save.”  You should then receive a confirmation message.  In order to complete your registration you must come to the library and sign the Attendance Contract.  If you have any questions, please reply on this blog or contact the Children’s Department at 628-0947 X3.

Here’s a special holiday wish from all of us to all of you.  It takes a while to load, but it’s worth it.

Get Hooked! – Have Fun With Your Child

December 4, 2007 · Leave a Comment

We’re always looking for ways for parents and children to have fun together.  If you are the parent of a child 9 years of age and up, we’d like to invite you to partner with your child and join us in our new crochet class, Get Hooked!  The classes begin on Wednesday, January 19th from 7:00PM-8:00PM.  It’s a chance to chat and share your ideas, crochet problems and projects with other crocheters.  What better way is there to spend a cold winter night than crocheting with friends?  Register in person at the Children’s Department.  For more information post a reply or contact the Children’s Department at 628-09473.
